The demonstration focused on discovering co-morbidities related to the primary diagnoses of autism and diabetes. Each participating site secured regulatory and policy approval and then designated a limited group of researchers who tested the network and performed the research during the demonstration period.
Pilot members included The Clinical Translational Science Institute - University of Washington,Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research, Boston Children's Hospital, Partners Healthcare, and University of California, San Francisco.
